Jed's Island Resort

We went to Jed's Island resort at Calumpit, Bulacan last Mother's Day for a family reunion. I was a nice place to bring the kids along to play in the pool and to take pictures with the statues that they've got. Sadly, I don't have pictures of the actual pools because I forgot to.

They've got 5 pools opened to the public when we went there and 4 others that was closed off for private affairs. I'm not very sure about the number of pools because it was a HUGE place. I think the main attractions there was the statues. There were plenty to see. From cartoon characters to famous people to places all over the world.

We enjoyed ourselves, but not so much because of the massive amount of people who went there to spend mother's day. But still, it was a nice place...

Souvenir

This is what I made for the ninong and ninang of my little baby boy... I went to Tabora St. in Divisoria to get the materials for these souvenirs. They also have ready made ones that you can choose from if you don't have the time to make one yourself. I used 2 different styles. One is the cribs and the other is the stroller. 1 piece of it costs around 15 pesos if you're gonna do it yourself, but if you're gonna get the ready made ones, it's around 20-25 pesos.

Diaper Invitations

Hi! So, this is my first blog, and my first post. I've made this blog for all my arts and crafts project, also, for some of my thoughts or whatever.

My first project is a diaper invitation for my sons baptism.

I got the idea from this site. It's got the templates and the complete guide on how to make the invitation. I suggest that you also read the comments since some of your questions may be answered there. I didn't completely follow the site, I made some revisions of my own as well.

For the materials, I ordered the card stock and teddy bear stamp from Bee Happy Crafts since it's kinda difficult to find in your regular school supply stores. The rest of the stuff, I got from National Bookstore.

This is the print out of the outer template of the diaper. Just make sure to cut as close to the edge line as possible so that you won't have extra lines to erase later.

This is how it would look like after you've cut it out from the card stock.

Then I've added a ribbon for design... Another idea is you could use baby safety pins for decoration.

Finally, I glued the print out with the event details.
